The al-Kharrats, a rowdy and wry bunch, are both exasperated by and take solace in one another. And they tell each other stories. 06 / 1 Arabic Cooking Demonstration Start: 11:00 End: 13:30 Moroccan Sweet and Sour Chicken with Apricots and Prunes Djaj Barqooq Fi Mish Mish When: Sunday June 2nd from 11am-1:30pm Where: Metro on First Apartment Building 215 1st Ave W. in Queen Anne - Seattle. We will watch as Najiba demonstrates how she makes this dish. We will have snacks and talk while it cooks and then we'll all get a chance to taste it. The ACW Cooking Class is offered every other month for both members and non-members alike. So come and join us for a cooking demonstration, delicious food, drink and great company. The cost is $5 for members and $15 for non-members. It is on a first-come first serve basis, with members getting priority until May 22th. more info
